Jamaat-e-Islami continues traumatizing women of
Pakistan.
Jamaats especially have more influence on the peoples of
those areas, where literacy rates are low and poverty is
high. Latest example of this influence is Kohat where
political Tehsildar (mayor of the region) Abdul Ghafoor
issued orders on January 21, 2007 that all female teachers
and girl students of primary and secondary levels
should wear BURQA (an all enclosing cloak) of white
color.
So you can imagine that how influential Jamaat-e-Islami
is, that an administrator level officer issuing the most
awful and harsh order against its country’s women
citizens just for the support and favor of jamaat.
But let me tell Qazi sahab that the time will change and
women of Pakistan will stand against Pakistan’s men,
they will through away their veils, will get educated,
will drive cars, will choose their husbands by own choice
and then you and others like you will cry with no tears.
